Saloni Wahi serves on the Board of CMA Investment Holdings, a family-owned investment holding company and founding shareholder of the ABN Group, whose portfolio includes CNBC Africa, Forbes Africa, ABN Productions, ABN Training Institute and ABN Pictures.

CMA Investment Holdings is also a founding shareholder in a diverse portfolio of education and technology ventures, including Murdoch University Dubai, Transnational Academic Group, Curtin University Dubai, Tech One Global and Lancaster University Ghana. In addition, Mrs Wahi is Patron of the ABN Education Trust, the philanthropic and corporate social responsibility arm of the ABN and TAG groups.

Having played an active role in the operations of CMA Investment Holdings during its formative years, Mrs Wahi has, over the past decade, focused primarily on the stewardship of the family’s investment portfolio and the advancement of its philanthropic initiatives. Social impact has remained a lifelong commitment, and she has been instrumental in shaping and supporting the Group’s fundraising efforts and community programmes.

Her philanthropic work is centred on education, women’s empowerment and the welfare of orphaned and vulnerable children, with a particular emphasis on expanding access to tertiary and vocational education.

Established in South Africa in 2011, the ABN Education Trust supports students from historically disadvantaged backgrounds through bursaries, internships and mentorship programmes. The Trust also works closely with orphanages in Johannesburg, Accra, and Nairobi. Its impact extends to India, where the family has supported primary education for disadvantaged children, rural electrification initiatives and vocational bursaries for young women.

Mrs Wahi also serves on the Board of SP Wahi Management and Technology Consultants Private Limited in New Delhi. She divides her time between Johannesburg, Dubai and Delhi.
